Volunteer with us.
An institution is built by the people who show up. However you can give your time, there is a place for you in this work, with us, not for us. Here are the ways in.
Grants research & writing ›
Research aligned funders and help draft Letters of Intent and proposals that fund the institution. Good for writers, researchers, and the detail-minded.
Launch & events production ›
Hold the logistics behind our public moments: run-of-show, vendors, and crew for gatherings, the Founding Launch, and the Spring 2027 opening of Stories in Color: A Human Dignity Exhibition. Good for producers and event professionals.
Marketing & communications ›
Help tell the institution’s story: social posts, newsletter support for Dear Humanity, and a steady, warm public voice. Good for communicators and writers.
Program & storytelling support ›
Help run survivor-led storytelling sessions and Mirror · Bridge · Change dialogues in schools, universities, and community rooms.
Archive & testimony care ›
Assist with Stories in Color and the founding archive: transcription, research, digitizing, and the careful work of safeguarding survivor testimony before it is lost.
Skills-based volunteering ›
Offer a professional skill, such as design, communications, operations, photography, or translation, to help the institution grow.
Share your story ›
