When wildfire smoke filled Los Angeles, we helped bring clean air to families who could not get it.

Neighbors helping neighbors
In January 2025, smoke from the wildfires pushed the air quality index past 300. Air purifiers sold out within hours, and many families could not afford one.
Community gifts of $3,390 bought the first 34 purifiers and 9 humidifiers. Then Coway donated 300 purifiers and Vesync 120 more.
On February 15, volunteers handed them out at Carla's Fresh Market in Highland Park, free of charge.
